UTX protection relays is a series of protective relays for all applications in HV and MV substations. There are models with all necessary protective functions available, such as overcurrent protection, distance protection, differential protection (for line and cables - also with braches, for transformers, for bus bars).

They ensure swift, selective and reliable fault clearance for high-voltage systems in case of any type of short circuit occurring on them (either interfacial or line-to-earth short circuits).

The reliability of the protection mechanism is rooted in its precise and quick measurement of short-circuit impedance, and simultaneous calculation of the distance to the location where the short circuit occurred.

All devices are equipped with **-bit A/C transducers as well as a serial transmission interfaces (engineering RS **2 and RS **5 per IEC standard **********3), in addition to fibre optic and/or network (TCP/IP) communication capability.

UTX analyses 6 measuring loops (L*-E, L*-E, L*-E, L*-L2, L*-L3 and L*-L3) independently and simultaneously.
